In
the Southern part of Madagascar The Wind Factory installed an 80kW Wind
diesel system. The energy system is connected to the local grid of the
village Ilakaka which has 1500 inhabitants and 400 energy connections.
As diesel generated power was the only source of energy the wind turbine will
now minimize their fuel costs.
